Silver Institute Elects New Officers
(Washington, D.C. – June 29, 2017) Octavio Alvidrez, CEO of Fresnillo plc (FRES: LSE), the world’s largest primary silver producer, has been elected President of the Silver Institute by its membership. He succeeds Mitchell Krebs, President and CEO of Coeur Mining, Inc. (CDE: NYSE). Michael Steinmann, President and CEO of Pan American Silver (PAAS: NASDAQ and TSX), the world’s second largest primary silver producer, was elected Vice President of the Silver Institute, succeeding Mr. Alvidrez. Both men will serve a two-year term.
