The Conference will be attended by the world's principal silver market participants, representing leading global silver producers, precious metal research centers, research and development institutions, silver traders, manufacturers, governmental bodies and consumers. The Conference will address current issues facing the silver industry, and will include presentations on global silver resources, silver processing, silver investment and trade, and research on silverware and jewelry production, among other timely topics. Most of all, the conference provides a unique opportunity to foster exchanges and cooperation between international silver industry representatives in the increasingly important Chinese silver market.

The 5th CISC is hosted and organized by the Gems & Jewelry Trade Association of China, with major sponsors the Silver Institute, the China Chamber of Commerce of Metals, Minerals & Chemicals Importers & Exporters, the China General Chamber of Commerce, and the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association.

The Conference will be held at the Panyu Hotel in Panyu. Conference activities will begin with registration on September 27, followed that evening by a welcome reception.
