(December 9, 2003) Conference registration and program information is now available online for the 2004 International Zinc and Silver Conferences, sponsored by the American Zinc Association (AZA) and the Silver Institute. The event will be held from February 22-25, 2004, in Phoenix, Arizona, at Marriott's new Desert Ridge Resort. Early registration, at a reduced rate, is available until Friday, January 23, 2004.
Conference and registration materials can be found at the following link on the Silver Institute's web site: http://www.silverinstitute.org/events/ZSconfbro.pdf.
Included among the many sessions slated for the conference are an examination of the silver and zinc markets in China; silver market trends and developments; photographic demand for silver; retail investment demand for silver; new frontiers for silver biocides; and, breaking research in silver and zinc. A roster of distinguished speakers, including chief executives, top analysts and international financiers will share their valuable insights with the conference delegates on the topics listed above, and others, over three days.
This first-of-its-kind event reflects the many ties between the two metals, from ore bodies, to producers of both zinc and silver, to common issues affecting their futures. In addition, there are ample networking opportunities scheduled, including a golf and tennis tournament, a welcome reception and an awards reception. A robust itinerary for spouses and guests is also available.
The event is open to all interested parties. For more information, please visit www.silverinstitute.org, or www.zinc.org.
